Lungsod ng Heneral Santos - previously known as Dadiangas and abbreviated G.S.C or GenSan. Found in sounthernmost in the Philippines. General Santos City is part of the Soccsksargen region and geographically in the province of South Cotabato but administered independent of it. [wiki]




A bustling urban center that stands out in terms of progress and development in Southern Philippines. The city enjoys good weather all year round and is generally typhoon-free and with evenly distributed rainfall.
City Mayor Ronnel Rivera has declared that General Santos City is still the Tuna Capital of the Philippines. (25 April 2014)




Buildings - The City is starting to develop more buildings, like malls and commercial buildings. There were five malls already, e.g. (SM City, Robinsons, Veranza, KCC & Gaisano Mall). Hospitals are visible and accessible in the area, just one ride. There are also plans for high rise condominiums soon in General Santos.
Residential - Houses in General Santos are very accessible to all places, e.g (malls, hospitals, supermarket) just one ride and it will took you 5-15 minutes only. For the fish port and airport, the distance will depend on which area you are in the city. But it will not take you long.
Power - The Mindanao Grid of the National Power Corporation supplies the area power requirements through two electric cooperatives, SOCOTECO 1 and SOCOTECO 2.
